How quickly you can charge your electric car at home depends on three factors: the charging station, your car’s maximum charging capacity and your home’s electrical connection.
With a Single-phase connection you can usually charge with a maximum of 3.7 to 7.4 kW. With a 3-phase connection is 11 kW common. Some charging stations and cars even support 22 kW, but for this both your electrical installation and your car must be suitable.
